Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangha Mumbai donates Rs 1.11 lakh for treatment of Baby Dithiya

Belthangady, Oct 6, 2015: The Kannadiga Patrakarara Sangha of Mumbai in a humanitarian gesture has donated a sum  of Rs 1,11,111 which it has raised towards the  treatment of Dithiya Balanja, the two year old daugher of Belthangady jorunalist Manohar Balanja. As already reported Dithiya is diangosed with liver failure and needs an emergency liver transplantation. The amount was handed over to Manohar at the  office of Belthangady Working Journalists’ Association on October 6, Tuesday.

Chandrashekhar Palettadi, President of Kannadiga Journalists’ Asosciaiton, Rons Bantwal, its Honorary Secretary, Shiva Moodigere, Executive President of the Bhavan Commitee of the  Association and others were present.

BS Kulal, President of Belthangady Working Journalists’ Association, Ashraf Ali Kadanja, Joint Secretary, Bhuvanesh Gerukatte, Secretary, Members Lakshmi Machina, Pushparaj Shetty, Deepak Atavale, Shibi Dharmasthala, Manjunath Rai and others who were present, wished speedy recovery to Baby Dithiya.
