Kalakulotsav festival from Kalakul at Town Hall from June 18

Mangaluru, June 17, 2017: A news release recieved announces that ‘Kalakulotsav’, a two-day Konkani drama festival by ‘Kalakul’ – Konkani’s lone theatre repertory, run by Mandd Sobhann, will be held at Town Hall, Mangalore, on June 18 and 25, 2017.

 

The four plays which will be showcased on these days are –

 June 18 – 5.30 p.m. – ‘Magirchem Magir’ written by Chafra D’Costa.

 June 18 – 7.30 p.m. – ‘Dev ani Denvchar’ written by Arun Raj Rodrigues.

 June 25 – 5.30 p.m. – ‘1+1=1’ comprising of ‘Vishentiche Bhav’ by Chafra D’Costa and, ‘8 Fo’tti’ by Fr. Alwyn Serrao.

 June 25 – 7.30 p.m. – ‘Paying Guest’ written by Arun Raj Rodrigues.

Christopher D’Souza Neenasam a well known popular dramatist has directed all these plays.

The public is hereby invited to attend Kalakulotsav and encourage the artists. Entry free.
