Kabaddi player’s murder : Wife, Paramour behind bars

Kasargod, Dec 18, 2015 : Police who are investigating into the case of murder of  G Santosh (39), a noted Kabaddi player from Neeleshwar, have so far arrested his wife K V Ranjusha (30) and her suspected paramour  C Manoj (37) who also  was a relative of the deceased.

The police who had initially arrested Manoj in connection with the case later arrested Ranjusha too after  cyber cell police  confirmed  that  Ranjusha had made several calls to Manoj prior to the death of Santosh.

Though initially it was suspected that Santosh had died of a heart attack, suspicions raised  upon spotting an injury in the neck resulted in a post mortem examination when it was confirmed that  he was smothered to death.

 Police also suspect an illicit relationship between Manoj and Ranjusha which ultimately led to the murder of Santosh.

Police are now of the opinion that the murder plan was hatched just a day before the act. Santosh’s body was found in his house on the morning of December 7.
