KSRTC bus driver gets 18 months jail term for reckless driving.

Puttur: September 2, 2015: The court here has sentenced 1.6 year jail term for KSRTC bus driver for reckless driving that caused serious injury to a woman.

 

The incident occurred in 2012, a woman named Saraswathi from Kasargod was severely injured in the accident. The bus driver Nagaraj has been accused of not taking care of the passenger when she was lying with severe injuries.

Saraswathi registered a complaint, to which the court on Tuesday sentenced 18 months Jail term.

According to the sources, Nagaraj has filed an appeal at a higher level and has secured bail.
