KSRTC Bus Strike: Nightmare for the students

Bantwal July 25, 2016: It was a nightmare for the students and the daily passengers after KSRTC employees went for strike for two days on July 25th and July 26th demanding 30% hike in wages.

The students were dependent for private buses and was seen rushing towards it. Panemangalore, BC Road and Farangipete bus stand was packed with commuters who were waiting for buses. Unfortunately students had to return back to their home after failing to catch bus which was over crowded with passengers.

Though CM Siddarammaih declared two days holiday for schools and Colleges, district DC AB Ibrahim cancelled the holiday in the district which created panic among the students.
