KSHEMA conduct three days medical camp in flood effected areas

Mangaluru, Aug 15, 2019: Justice K.S. Hegde Charitable Hospital, a subsidiary institute of K.S. Hegde Medical Academy, Deralakatte, Mangalore had Conducted three days medical camp from 11th to 13th August 2019 in the flood affected areas due to heavy rain in the places of UttaraKannada district such as Kadavada, Shiravada, Kinnara school, Kinnara anganwadi, Vailavada, Kharge school, Siddara I.T.I., Siddara Primary School, K.P.C. Kadra School, Mallapura RFO Office, Kadra Colony, Kunnipete School, Veerje, Kadiye, Karavadi and Shejavada relief centres and given first aid treatment to the affected people and free medicines were provided to those who needed and counselled them.

A medical team headed by Dr. Naresh Rai, Senior Intensivist from Intensive care Unit and Dr. Sudesh Shetty, Senior doctor from Casualty department along with the doctors from General Medicine, Paediatrics department, Orthopedics department and para medical staff were the part of this team.


This medical camp organized under the guidance of Sri Abhijin, Assistant Commissioner of Karwar and Shri Praveen from Social Welfare Department.
