KORWA ushers in Christmas spirit by hosting gala show for orphan kids

Mangaluru, Dec 14, 2014: Nearly 500 children from orphanages including  Prajna Counselling Cenre, Jeevandham, Gurupur-Kaikamba, St Angela Home, Bejai and Infant Mary’s Orphanage had a gala time at the Loyola Hall on December 13, Saturday, thanks to the kind gesture of the Konkan Overseas Returnees Welfare Association (KORWA) which decided to share the Christmas joy  with the kids and bring smiles on their faces.

Santa Claus too made an appearance much to the joy of the children. There were even scintillating dance performances by  Aryans Troupe  apart from an orchestra by Anita D’Souza and group and Blue Angles Padua.

MLC Ivan D’Souza who was present as a chief guest, appreciated KORWA for its welcome initiative. Louis Lobo, President of KORWA, Pascal Pinto, NRI entrepreneur, and others were present.

Donors including Rohan Monteiro of Rohan Corporation were honoured during the function.
