Mangalore Feb 1, 2016: Kudremukh Iron Ore Company will be back on track as soon as state government agrees to handover 4.78 hectare land for the purpose of iron ore mining on the outskirts of Devadaari region, said MLA Mohiuddin Bava.
Addressing the Press in MCC on February 1, Monday he said it was after a long-run discussion along with Chief Minister Siddarammaiah and Rajya Sabha MP Oscar Fernandes that the state government decided to provide 4.78 hectare land on the outskirts of Devadaari region for iron ore mining. Though the Central Government clearance is pending for the same it is expected in another month’s time, Bava said adding once approved it would be a welcome development for many workers of the company who have been awaiting such a decision since several years.
Bava also stated that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will visit Kudremukh Iron Ore Company after the upcoming Panchayat elections.
