Jihadis threatening me: Shobha Karandlaje

Udupi, May 06, 2020:  Udupi-Chikmagalur MP Shobha Karandlaje on Tuesday complained of receiving threatening calls from Dubai and Middle East.

 

Speaking to mediapersons during a video conference,  she said that she is receiving threatening calls after she had condemned the recent incident where a member of Hindu organisation hailing from Kerala was assaulted in Kuwait.

Also, she said that the calls received were offensive and abusive.

“I am fighting against the Jihadis in the Middle East. The Jihadists are threatening me and I have complained to New Delhi police. As no action was initiated, I requested the Home Minister to order a probe into the threat calls.

She said that she is a committed parliamentarian and is serving people with food and necessary materials during the lockdown.
