Jeweller robbed off in Netravathi Express at Suratkal

Udupi, Sep 18, 2017: Armed burglar’s rob off  jewellar travelling in Netravathi Express at Suratkal on September 18, Monday.

 

 
Reports said that Rajendra Singh of Rajasthan was working for a Jewllary shop in Mumbai. He was travelling  to Kerala from Mumbai  in  Netravathi Express. When the train reached Surathkal, armed men  barged into the compartment and threatened him showing pistol, snatched way the bag of gold bangles weighing 4.11 kg and fled away.


Singh managed to get down at next station in Padubidri , rush to police station  booked a complaint. The police suspect that they had  information about   Singh and followed him . They have also obtained details on the physical description of the robbers and the language in which they conversed.
