Jerardin D’Souza meets bishop to discuss Christian development issues

Mangalore, Dec 24, 2011: Mr. Jerardin D’Souza, who had recently been nominated to the Karnataka State Christian Minority Development Council (KSCMDC), met the Bishop of Mangalore Diocese Rev. Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza at the Bishop’s House in Kodialbail. 

They discussed various provisions of the budget for 2010 – 11. Funds earmarked for KSCMDC will be used for various purposes such as women’s self-employment, basic education, professional education, housing loans, vocational training, skill development, church repairs, and many others. These funds must be used before the end of the fiscal year 2012. 

Mr. D’Souza, who is an engineer, is also the managing trustee of Spandana – We Care Charitable Trust.
