Jayaram Bhat & Manohar Prasad Chosen for Rotary Vandana Award 2017

Mangaluru, Mar 21,2017  :  Mr. Jayaram Bhat, Managing Director Karnataka Bank and Mr. Manohar Prasad Chief of News Bureau of Udayavani Kannada Daily have been chosen for the prestigious state level Rotary Annual “Vandana Award” for the year 2017, in recognition of their invaluable contributions, in the field of Banking and Journalism respectively.

The award is jointly instituted by Rotary Club of Mangalore Central and Rotaract Club of Mangalore City,  which is being conferred on Mr. Jayaram Bhat in recognition of his exemplary achievements in the field Banking. and for Mr. Manohar Prasad in appreciation of his life time achievements in the field of journalism. The award comprises of a citation, plaque and memento.

Member of the Parliament Sri. Nalin Kumar Kateel will grace the occasion as Chief guest Mangaluru City Corporation Mayor Mrs. Kavitha Sanil will be the guest of honour and will felicitate the Awardees in a function to be held on Friday  24th March 2017 at Hotel Motimahal Mangaluru. at 08.00 pm.

 President of Rotary Club of Mangalore Central Rtn. Anil Gonsalves will preside over the function. Rotary District Zonal Lieutenant Rtn. Elaias Sanctis, District Rotaract Representative Rtr. Miss. Hitaishi. President of Rotaract Club of Mangalore City Rtr.Yathish Salian will also be present on this occasion.
