Japanese Research Scholar meets Kateel Temple leaders

Mangaluru, Feb 17, 2017: Reports state that a  research scholar from Japan, Prof Morijiri visited Kateel Shri Durgaparameshwari Temple priest and Sri Durga Makkala Mela (Childrens’ Yakshagana Troup) president Sri Hari Narayana Dasa Asranna and collected information on Makkala Mela.

Earlier, the scholar had visited the temple and the details of the visit have been mentioned in his book written on Kateelu Mela, titled ‘YAKSHAGANA : Exceeding Colourful  Theatre.’ He informed the priest that he would visit the the makkala mela in May 2017.
