Janardhan Poojary launches official website of Kudroli temple

Mangalore, Sep 29: B. Janardhan Poojary, the former union minister, launched the official website of Shri Gokarnanatheshwara Temple in Kudroli on Thursday, which happened to be the second day of Mangalore Dasara. 

Speaking of the need to have an official website for this historically significant temple, which draws huge crowds of devotees from nooks and corners of the country, Mr. Poojary formally launched www.kudroligokarnanatheshwara.com. He expressed hopes that the website will attract more and more people to the temple. 

Revealing details about the website, he said that it provides information regarding the temple’s history besides spreading the message of humanity, brotherhood, and equality as preached by Shri Narayana Guru. 

The idols of the Nava Durgas and Sharada Devi were specially worshipped on this occasion.

Among the prominent citizens present were Anwar Manippady, the chairman of the Karnataka State Minorities Commission; Ramesh Kumar of Janatha Constructions; H. S. Sairam, the president of the temple management committee; B. K. Tharanath; Raghavendra Kuloor; Maheshchandra; Malathay Janardhana Poojary; and Harikrishna Bantwal.
