J M Garg inaugurates Vinaya Hospital and Research Centre

Mangalore, March 8: Mr. J M Garg, the chairman and managing director of Corporation Bank, has inaugurated the newly built Vinaya Hospital and Research Centre on March 7 at Karangalpady.

 

 

The hospital, which is located at a convenient spot in the city, has 65 beds, 10 special deluxe rooms, a general ward, 2 modern operation theatres, a dialysis unit, an intensive care with ventilators, modern ultra sound scanning system, TMT Echo Cardiogram, digital X-ray theatre, high-tech computerized laboratory, and in-house pharmacy.

The hospital will provide twenty four hours service to its patients said Dr. Ravish Thunga, the consultant psychiatrist and director of the new hospital. Apart from this, the hospital, which is having laboratories, will offer a free cost treatment to diabetic’s patients every Saturday from 2 pm to 5 pm, he added.

Dr. Thunga also said that, in addition to diagnostic facilities, the hospital offers a wide range of medical services at affordable prices to cater to the requirements of patients. 

Dr. Hansraj Alva, the consultant physician, Dr K R Shetty, Dr K S Shetty and other doctors were present on occasion.
