Ivan says he is a ticket aspirant for LS polls

Mangaluru, Dec 15, 2018: MLC Ivan D’Souza has today said that  he intends to  contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. "I too am one of the ticket aspirants, I will contest if the High Command gives me a ticket," D’Souza said at a press meet in the city on December 15, Saturday.

Defending his claim for a ticket, he said there was nothing wrong in it as minority voters were in large numbers in the Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha constituency.

On senior leader B Janardhana Poojary too expressing his desire to contest, Ivan said it would be welcome if the high command gives him a ticket.
