Ivan D’Souza’s book “Marching towards dream realization” released

Mangaluru Sep 1, 2016: Former Vice Chancellor of Kannada University, Hampi Prof Vivek Rai released a book entitled  "Marching towards dream realization" by MLC and Chief Whip of Legislative Council Ivan D’Souza’s at St Antony’s Hermitage in Jeppu today September 1 Thursday. The book has been released to mark Ivan D’Souza’s second year as legislator.

 

 

 

Bishop of Mangalore Diocese Rev Fr Aloysious D’Souza inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.

Addressing the gathering, Bishop of Mangalore Diocese Rev Fr Aloysius D’Souza said that  Ivan D’Souza has been an inspiration to the society by helping the needy and also by being  a saviour of beedi workers, dalits and deprived people. So far Ivan has succeeded in getting released from the government funds to the tune of Rs 3 crores for the welfare of the needy which is appreciable, the Bishop said. Ivan is also a trust worthy leader who responds to the cries of the poor, he added.

Prof. Vivek Rai said  the absence of concern from the government towards the needy has pushed them further backward.  Ivan D’Souza has proved his leadership capabilities and has set an example by helping the needy and deprived people, he further added.

Ivan D’Souza, his wife Dr Kavitha D’Souza, DK Interim Congress President Ibrahim Kodijaal, Fr Onil D’Souza  and others were present.
