Islam- a religion that propagates peace: Scholar Ibrahim Musliyar

Mangaluru, Dec 20, 2015: The messages of Islam  are universal and relevant at all times. It’s ultimate objective is  to achieve amity and harmony in the society,  said Shaikhuna  Bekal Ibrahim Musliyar, President of Karnataka Jamiyyatul Muallimeen.

He was speaking after inaugurating a mega Hubburrasul Convention organised at Nehru Maidan here on December 19, Saturday under the auspices of the DK District unit of Sunni Students Federation. The Prophet has shown the path for the world to follow . A healthy society cannot be created if any one community lives in peace, there should be peace and harmony between members of all communities for the society to progress and prosper, he said.

Sayyed Jalaluddin Al Hadi Tangal Ujire offered the Duwa.  SKM Shafi Saadi,  SSF State Committee President,  Bengaluru presided over the function.  State Health and Family Welfare Minister U T Khader,  Karnataka Sunni Jamiyyatul Ulema Vice President Shaikhuna Abdul Hameed Musliyar Maani and several others were present on the occasion.

An Ilal Habeeb Milad Rally which was taken out from Jyothi to Nehru Maidan prior to the convention was inaugurated by MLA of Mangaluru North Moideen Bava.
