Inter-faith marriage : Couple seek police protection

Mangaluru, Jan 3, 2015  : A newly married couple  who had an inter-faith marriage  have now sought police  protection to save them from their families which were against their marriage.

The pair namely Kiran Rai from Mangala Nagar and Namitha Pais from Kotekar had reportedly tied the knot at Arya Samaj in Mangaluru on December 27 after their parents had lodged   missing complaints.

The two, it is learnt, were in love since some years.

 

On January 2, Friday, the two approached the Ullal police seeking protection.
