Inter-caste couple missing with 20 day old baby from Vamanjoor

Mangaluru, Aug 15, 2015 :  An inter-caste couple   from Vamanjoor have been  reported missing along with their 20 day old female child.

Those missing are Madhush and Mahalakshmi.   The woman’s original name is Zayida. The two had married on November 14  as per Hindu tradition. Mahalakshmi had given birth to a baby girl just  20 days ago.

 
On August 12, Mahalakshmi had received her sister  Samsad’s phone call. Later, she and her husband left along with their baby saying they would visit Mahalakshmi’s parental home. Meanwhile, Madhush’s mother has lodged a complaint with Mangaluru Rural police stating that the couple had neither reached Mahalakshmi’s parental home nor has returned to Vamanjoor.

She, in her complaint has also alleged that the  phone call by Samsad was responsible  for the missing of her son and daughter -in-law.
