Inspector General KR Nautiyal visit Coast Guard Headquarters in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Aug 02, 2017 : Inspector General KR Nautiyal, PTM, TM, the Commander, Coast Guard Region (West) visited Coast Guard Karnataka Headquarters at Mangaluru on  August 01 and 02.

 

The visit of the Flag Officer was aimed to assess the operational preparedness and administrative setup. In the morning, the Flag Officer inspected the Guard of Honour in the Ceremonial Parade at Coast Guard Headquarters, Mangaluru. Thereafter, the operational and administrative setup was reviewed.

The Flag Officer expressed satisfaction over the recent rescue services rendered by Coast Guard Karnataka. He is also appreciated the progress made in infrastructure development and liaison of Coast Guard Karnataka with State administration, Police, Customs, Fisheries and other concerned organizations.

The Flag Officer emphasized that the operations should be continued with zeal. Similarly, Coast Guard fraternity should be given appropriate importance. The presence of Flag Officer brought a wave of excitement and motivation amongst the Coast Guard fraternity at Mangaluru.
