Indira Canteen inaugurated at Manipal

Manipal, Feb 28, 2018: Indira Canteen which has been set up at Ward No. 18, on  the DC office Road at Manipal was inaugurated on February 27  by Udupi District in-charge Minister Pramod Madhwaraj.

 

The canteen offers  food at subsidised rates for the general public. Breakfast will be available for Rs 5, lunch and dinner for Rs 10 each. The  breakfast timings is 7.30 am to 9.30 am while lunch will be served from 12.30 noon to 3 pm. Dinner will be from 7.30 pm to 9 pm.

Breakfast will include  idli or any other rice dish while lunch and dinner include rice, sambar, tomato bath etc.

The inaugural function was attended by Udupi CMC Chief Meenakshi Madhav Bannanje, CMC Vice President Sandhya Tilakraj, Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Mary Francis, CMC Commissioner Manjunathaiah and others.

  A similar canteen is scheduled to start functioning  near the service bus stand in Udupi.
