In order to control vehicles ’fibre cones’ are placed

Mangaluru, May 22 2018: With no efforts to control the increase in the number of vehicles,  as well as the haphazard driving attitudes of the motorists. In order to control traffic movement, the city traffic police installed fiber cones at important places now.

On May 18th, during the police phone in programme, there was a surge in demand from the public for the installation of fiber cones to control haphazard movement of vehicles. Importantly, the public insisted on installation of fiber cones at Pandeshwar railway gate and at the bus bay at Lighthouse hill road. The authorities need to be focused on traffic problems in the city.

It is intolerable to note that many two wheelers are habituated to move on the wrong side of the road even in busy roads, with impunity and no objection from any one - authorities need to act seriously.
