In a first, IMD warns of potential heat wave in coastal region

Mangaluru, Mar 04, 2023: In a first, the Indian Meteorological Department has warned  of a likely heatwave in the coastal districts of the state.

 

It is learnt the region may experience heat wave due  to the hot air blowing from many north Indian states which have already recorded maximum temperatures.

Weather experts also said there is a dust storm in the Mediterranean region and  any reduction in atmospheric pressure will result in  the hot air blowing towards the south.
