Mangalore, April 16, 2014: Union Minister Rehman Khan has claimed that the implementation of the recommendations of Sachar Commission for the welfare of the minorities was one of the biggest achievements of the Union Government.
Addressing press persons in the city on April 15, Tuesday, he said the government has taken steps to implement 66 out of the 72 recommendations of the Commission. Rehman Khan further said the Lok Sabha elections is a direct fight between BJP’s communalism and the ideologies of the congress.
“One can imagine what sort of development Modi has achieved in Gujarat when he had deprived nearly 3 lakh minority community students in Gujarat of scholarships by rejecting the scholarships released by the Centre. Modi is also facing a case in this regard, he added.
Continuing, he said the RSS was planning to rule the nation through Modi.
