Immigration officials nab fake passport holder

Mangalore, Sep 22, 2011 : The immigration officials at Bajpe Airport nabbed a passenger who arrived from Muscat on a fake passport and handed him over to the Bajpe police, who produced him in court and remanded him to judicial custody.

 

The arrested is Ahmed Karim Moosa of Kunjattur at Manjeshwar in Kasargod, Kerala. He stands accused of providing a fictitious address in Mandya and obtained a fake passport from a person called Abdul Kader in Bangalore.

He has travelled several times between Mumbai and Muscat without being caught, but the immigration officials at Bajpe made a thorough examination of the passport.
