Illegal construction near Kankanady Junction demolished by MCC

Mangaluru, Aug 29 2019: An illegal construction near Kankanady Junction in the city was demolished by the MCC authorities with police protection following a court order.

 

The building had housed vegetable and fruit shops. There was a dispute between the shopkeepers here and the MCC  since  the past few years. Though the MCC had issued orders to vacate the building the owners had  challenged it  in the court. Now, the shops stand  demolished as per the court  orders.
