Illegal Transport: Truck carrying Wooden Logs seized

Puttur, Dec 03, 2016:  A truck  illegally  carrying wooden logs was seized by Puttur police at Purusharakatte in Narimogru village on December 02, Friday.  Logs worth lakhs were seized.

The accused is Sabulla (32), Kajekkar Pandavarakallu.

As the Puttur town Inspectors were checking the vehicles passing through Purusharakatte, Sabullah  who was transpoting  wooden logs in truck was  way laid. On checking the vehicle they found the wooden logs without proper documents. Sabullah was taken to custody and wooden logs worth Rs 1.65 lakhs was seized.

Puttur town police inspector Mahesh Prasad, Puttur town police station ASI Lokanath, constables Harish and Lingappa took up the operation.
