Iftar row : Hindu Maha Sabha leader launches scathing attack on Pejawar seer

Mangaluru, June 29,2017 : Dharmendra, State Convenor of the Hindu Maha Sabha has  launched a scathing attack on Pejawar Pontiff Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji for holding an Iftar Koota last Saturday.

Addressing press persons here on June 29, Thursday, he accused the seer of  resorting to politics in the  name of religion and urged him to shun the practice. He said the Hindu outfits are strongly against the seer’s act of holding Iftar Koota inside the Mutt and said the Pejawar seer ought to have organised the event outside the Mutt.

He also declared that the July 2 protest organised by the Sri Rama Sene against holding the Iftar Koota will be withdrawn if the Pejawar Swamiji arranges a Hanuman Chalisa at a mosque for them.

 Hindu Yuva Sena leaders including Praveen Valke, Raj  Maarla, Prasad Ujire  were present at the press meet.
