It is said a wild boar had entered the compound of Karunaker on Thursday morning and he had  chased it away along with his dogs. Though the wild boar fled the place, on his way home, Karunaker  noticed that his dogs were barking and  had begun moving around a huge peepal  tree suspiciously. When Karunaker went there out of curiosity he saw an idol amid creepers and  heaps of stones   on the base of the tree. It is said it took almost an hour for him to set aside the stones nearby for the idol to emerge clearly. Even a small lamp was seen nearby. At the outset it resembles the idol of some Goddess. It is believed that there might have been a temple or a small shrine in the area in the past.

Meanwhile, land owner Karunaker feels this might be an Udbhava Murthi. He also said further steps would be decided after consulting  priests and religious leaders.
