Mangaluru, Dec 24, 2015:  In a press release, Police Commissioner S. Murugan said that vehicles will not be allowed to move from Arvind Motors showroom and from the City Centre Mall towards Lighthouse Hill. Vehicles have to take K.S. Rao Road or the LHS Road to reach Falnir Road.

The police will bar the movement of vehicles from Hampankatta Junction to Lighthouse Hill on Thursday from 4 p.m. till devotees disperse after prayers at Jumma Masjid on the occasion of Id Milad-un-Nabi.

Vehicles will be allowed to park in a 45 degree angle on the Lighthouse Hill road stretch from Hampankatta Junction. Parking of vehicles will also be allowed on the left-hand side of the Lighthouse Hill Road stretch between City Central Library and Vijaya Bank, the Commissioner  Murugan said.
