Mangaluru Aug 19, 2016: Interim DK Congress President Ibrahim Kodijaal critizcizes Modi govt for rising attacks on Dalits and minorities by cow vigilantes.

Addressing to the press at Congress Office today Aug 19, Friday he condemned the recent attack on Praveen Poojary who was beaten to death by cow vigilantes for transporting cattle.

Praveen Poojary attack was against the law and constitution and after the regime of Modi govt the attacks on Dalits and minorities has been rising day by day. Sanghaparivar provoke youths to indulge in crimes by their provocative speeches, said Kodijaal.

He also said that, these cow vigilantes have claimed life of innocent Praveen Poojary who was social worker too. We preach love towards each other but BJP spill venom on youths to hate each other. For the purpose of progress peace and harmony is required but now people are aware that there is no protection and development from BJP, he added. 

Memorandum will be submitted to Western Range IGP for strict action against the attackers of Praveen Poojary, said Ibrahim Kodijaal
