IT raids on Udupi’s two businessmen

Udupi, Jan 23, 2019: Income tax officials  from Bengaluru have raided the office and residences of  politician and businessman   Uday Kumar Shetty  at Udupi and Karkala on January 23, Wednesday  morning.

The tax officials have also raided the residence and office of crusher owner Joy.

The raids  are conducted simultaneously in the residence of Uday Kumar Shetty at Muniyal, his cashew factory  and fish mill at Kota.

Sources said officials are scrutinizing the  documents. Meanwhile, sources have not ruled out the possibility of more raids  targeting some other businessmen of the district.
