ISKCON to celebrate Janmashtami on Aug 28

Mangalore, Aug 23, 2013: The ISKCON will be celebrating Sri Krishna Janmashtami at the TMA Pai Convention Hall in Mangalore on August 28.

Informing this to reporters, Nama Nishtadas of Hare Krishna Temple said the programme will commence at 6 pm and will continue till midnight. He said around 5000 devotees are expected to take part in the programme which will commence with a Tulasi Pooja and conclude with Mahamangalarathi at midnight.

Various programmes like bhajans and religious discourses are part of the event.

A free workshop on Vedic Science will also be organised on behalf of the Temple on September 1 at the Hare Krishna Temple premises near Kadri Toll Gate.  More details can be had by contacting 0824-2225793.
