Huge tree falls over house at Barebail ; 2 women severely injured

Mangaluru, Aug 09, 2019 : A house at Barebail near KPT in Mangaluru was  completely damaged after a huge tree fell over it on August 7, wednesday evening  at around 7.30 pm, resulting in injuries to two women who were inside the house.

Giriyamma (90) and her daughter (60) who were severely injured were rescued by the locals and shifted to the hospital. A coconut and a jackfruit tree too  fell  over the house after the huge tree got uprooted due to heavy rains, resulting in more damage.

An electric pole was also damaged in the incident.
