Hore Kanike procession : Devotees make bountiful offerings for Mount Rosary Church

Udupi, Jan 6, 2015:  Several truck loads of vegetables, coconut, rice etc were offered during a Hore Kanike procession organised in connection with the inauguration of the Mount Rosary Church at Kalianpur-Santhekatte on January 5, Monday. The procession participated by a large number of faithful was flagged off by Udupi CMC Chief P Yuvaraj.

The procession which commenced at Ambagilu,  concluded at the Mount Rosary Church.  P Aboobakker, Fr Dennis D’sa, students from various schools and representatives of various organisations participated in the procession which was accompanied by a band set and cultural teams. There were even the Huli Veshadharis and several tableaux.
