Honest auto driver returns bag of valuables ; wins applause

 Mangaluru, May 31, 2015 :  In another case of exemplary honesty, this too by an autorickshaw driver, a bag containing gold and  other valuables worth nearly Rs 10 lakh has been returned to its rightful owner by Giridhar from Pandeshwar.

Giridhar, a resident of Pandeshwar who ekes out a living by driving his autorikshaw had on May 30, Saturday  found a  bag of valuables, including gold, cash and two mobile phones  which was left behind  by a lady who had hired the autorickshaw at Balmatta and had alighted at the railway station.

 The lady later arrived at the station along with one Farooq and collected the bag after duly praising Giridhar whose honesty has also won applause from Pandeshwar cops.

Giridhar has been driving autorickshaw since 30 years.

Recently, an autorickshaw driver from Bantwal too had displayed honesty by returning a bag of valuables.
