Mangaluru, May 4, 2017 : The district unit of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Bajarangadal staged a protest in the city on May 3, Wednesday to condemn the stone pelting on soldiers by Kashmiri separatists.
Expressing full support to the commitment of the security forces, the VHP and Bajarangadal have demanded that the security forces be given full right to use force for self-defence. They have also demanded that every measure must be taken to ensure that no soldier is harmed in such incidents.
The organisations have also demanded stern action against the stone pelters after gathering evidences available in form of photos and videos
The protestors even urged that an emergency be declared in Kashmir to prevent Pakistan’s interference and to launch a crackdown on separatists so that Kashmiri pandits who have abandoned their homes would return to lead a peaceful life.
Sharan Pumpwell, Convenor of Bajarangadal Karnataka South, Gopal Kuthar, District Secretary of VHP and others participated in the protest.
