Hindu outfits on hunger strike against delay in arrest of Sharath killers

Mangaluru, Aug 8,2017 : Several right wing organisations commenced a day long hunger strike in front of the DC office here on August 8, Tuesday to protest against the delay in the arrest of the accused in the RSS activist Sharath Madivala murder case. The protest organised under the aegis of the Hindu Hitharakshana Samithi was also held in Sullia, Puttur, Bantwal, Moodbidri and  other places in the district.

Speaking during the protest held in front of BC Road, VHP leader Jagadish Shenava  lashed out at the Police Department  as well as the  State Government  for the failure to arrest the accused in the Sharath murder case  as well as those behind the attack on Chiranjeevi at Kuttar and murder of Pawan at Melkar. He questioned why there was a delay in the arrest of accused in case  of the murders of Hindu activists, when the accused in the Ashraf Kalayi case were arrested within 24 hours.

 VHP Working President M B Puranik, former MLC Monappa Bhandary, Hindu Jagarana Vedike leader Satyajit Suratkal,  Bajrang Dal leader Sharan Pumpwell and many others were present.
