Hindu outfits demand end to cattle trafficking; warn protest

Mangalore, July 11, 2013 : The Bhajrangdal and VHP have blamed the Congress government for the rise in cattle trafficking cases in the district in the recent past.

Addressing press persons, Jithendra Kottari, District President of Dharma Prachara Samithi said   there has also been an increase in theft cases in  temples and Basadis apart from cattle trafficking and added this has hurt the sentiments of the Hindus. He said the Hindu organisations strongly condemned all these thefts  and trafficking cases.

 He demanded stern action from the government against  cattle trafficking and warned of severe protest on behalf of VHP and Bhajrangdal otherwise.

Jagadish Shenava, VHP Working President, Gopal Kuttar, Secretary,  Sharan Pumpwell, Bhujanga Kulal, Bhajrangdal leaders, Pradeep Pumpwell, Goraksha Pramukh and others were present at the press meet.
