Hindu Samajotsav in Udupi on Mar 9; Togadia to be key-note speaker

 Udupi, feb 6, 2015: The VHP along with Bhajrangdal will be organising a Hindu Samajotsava at the MGM College grounds in  March 9. VHP leader Praveen Togadia will deliver the key-note address.

Informing this to reporters here  Suprasada Shetty,  President of the district unit of VHP said a Committee has been formed for the success of the Samajotsav. A procession will be taken out from Jodukatte to the programme venue prior to the meeting, he stated.

Shetty informed that  Dr M Mohan Alva, Chairman of the Golden Jubilee Celebration Committee of VHP will preside over the function which will be participated by Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt and several other religious heads.

He said the Samajotsav has been organised to unite  Hindus and also to promote  culture and language and tradition of the community.

Several Hindu leaders including Diwaker Shetty and Narayan Manya were present.
