High tension electric pole falls on vehicle; lucky escape for driver

Belthangady, Aug 04, 2020:    The driver of a pick-up vehicle had a narrow escape when a hi-tension electric pole  fell right on the vehicle  near Pagadi here on August 4, Tuesday morning.

 

 

 

The incident took place at around 5 am when the vehicle was on way to Guruvayanakere from Goliyangady. The driver  escaped unhurt in the incident.

Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds has  left two more electric poles  in the same area in a dangerous position.
