High alert in coastal area from Kasargod to Bhatkal has been notified by the Home Ministry.

Mangalore, November 3, 2009: Central intelligence agency has warned the Coast Guards and police force to keep vigil on the coastal area. Terrorists’ infiltration through the coastline of our country is looming large.

It may be recalled that last year on November on 26th the Terrorists infiltrated in Mumbai coasts and created mayhem at the Taj Hotel and many other important places. Fighting between commandos and the attackers continued at the Taj until the morning of November 29th.

Similar attack may be possible in any coastal area. The Intelligence department is taking all measures to prevent any such aggression.
