High Profile Sex Racket busted in Manipal- 5 arrested

Manipal, June 27, 2015: The police on Friday busted a high-profile flesh trade racket in one of the plush apartment near End Point Manipal.

 

The police arrested five person including a woman. The accused has been identified as Pradeep (35), Shahikala (23), Abdul Salam(38), Venkatesh(39), Karkera.

Based on the tip-off, Manipal police raided the apartment and took all the accused into custody. The police seized a car, a motorcycle and 9 mobile phones and cash worth Rs.88,380.

A case has been registered at Manipal police station under 123/15, 370(3) under IPC Setion and 3,4,5A,and 6 under ITP section.
