Heavy vehicles to be allowed in Shiradi Ghat on Nov 12

Mangaluru, Nov 07, 2018: The Shiradi Ghat road repair work is almost complete and will be free for  movement of heavy  vehicles from November 12, informed Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil.

 

 Speaking to reporters at his office here  on November 7, Wednesday,  he said  heavy vehicles will not be allowed  in Shiradi Ghat  during  Deepavali as it may lead to a rush  due to holidays.

He stated that  lack of communication between L&T and the NHAI  was the reason for the suspension of the  Gundia- BC Road  development works.  He also hoped the works would commence in a week’s time.
