Heavy rains uproot huge tree near railway station

Mangalore, Oct 26, 2014: A huge tree located  alongside the road leading to the Railway Station  opposite the Town Hall in Mangalore uprooted and rolled on to the road during the wee hours of October 26, Sunday owing to the heavy rains  that lashed the city since Saturday evening.

 

Traffic was disputed on the route for at least two hours until the tree branches were vacated from the road by the fire service personnel.
