Heavy rains result in water logging at Kottara Chowki

Mangaluru, Aug 10, 2018: Heavy rains that have been lashing the city has led to water logging in Kottara Chowki on Friday afternoon.

 

Mangaluru South MLA  D Vedavyas Kamath visited the place  and took stock of the situation. He even summoned MCC officials and directed them to  take up remedial measures immediately.

Speaking to reporters later, the MLA said   he has asked the officials to ensure public is not inconvenienced and clear the  blockage  in the storm water drain which was very likely the reason for water logging.

Ward Committee President Umesh Shetty  and many BJP workers who were present assisted the police in ensuring smooth movement of vehicular traffic on the road.
