Head constable crushed to death by Tanker in Melkar

Bantwal, Jan 05, 2017 : A head constable crushed to death by tanker as he was waition for bus at Melkar in Banrwal on January 04, Wednesday.

Rukmayya (48), head constable of Puttur town police station is the deceased. He served in Bantwal town, Vittal and other police stations too. He is survived by wife and two Children.

It is said that Rukmayya had been to Melkar due to some work  he  was waiting for the bus to retun back to Kalladaka. A speeding tanker knocked and crushed him to death. Due to the impact he sustained serious head injuries was rushed to hospital but was declared dead.

A case has been registered in Bantwal police station.
