Hawala racket probe : Ayesha-Jubair couple taken to Chattisgarh from Bihar

Mangalore, April 25, 2014 : The Ayesha-Jubair couple from Mangalore who have been arrested for involvement in Hawala racket  have been taken by the police to Chattisgarh from Bihar where they were lodged  since their arrest.

It is learnt, the two were taken to Chattisgarh after a body warrant was secured from the court.

 Ayesha and Jubair were arrested from their Panjimogaru residence  by the Lakhisarai police in Bihar a few months back. Two months ago the police had also filed a charge sheet against the duo.

 

It is learnt, though an advocate from Ullal named Khader  had tried for bail for the couple with the help of a local  advocate from Lakhisarai, he has not succeeded in his attempt.
