Haji Abdul Hameed Kandak-Veteran Muslim community leader, passes away

Mangaluru, Jan 24, 2018 : Haji Abdul Hameed Kandak veteran muslim community leader, Social worker and political leader dies of cardiac arrest on January 24, Wednesday.He was 68.

Hameed collapsed on stage while addressing the Ahinda programme at Woodlands Hotel, today. He  was rushed to hospital immediately, but was proclaimed dead.

He is  survived by wife , four sons and a daughter. He had served as member of the All-India Haj Committee, and as vice-president of the Dakshina Kannada Muslim Central Committee. He  actively participated in several Muslim organisations too.
